Welcome to the Website of Paxton Federated Church

Rev. Dr. Steve Anderson has been in the ministry for 41 years in a variety of settings. His goal is to help people deepen their relationship with God through faith in Jesus. He believes we grow in faith through Spiritual practices of prayer, scriptural study, Holy Communion, service, and discipleship. He believes we experience God in every aspect of our lives and we can worship in any and every setting. He enjoys working with people of all ages, and backgrounds.  He is passionate about equipping people to use the resources, talents, and skills  God has given each one. He served on the Board of Directors for the Hands of Christ Food pantry, and has also substituted in the local school district.

Organist

Priscilla Andreae attended University of Illinois, C-U, studying voice with Grace Wilson, and organ with Dr. Russell Miles and Professor Paul Pettinga. She sang in the Oratorio Society under direction of Professor Harold Decker and studied conducting with him, graduating in 1976 with a degree in education, music emphasis.

She has attended church music workshops in Montreat NC, Portland ME, Los Angeles CA, Pittsburgh PA, and most recently in Louisville KY.

Working for 15 years in classroom music, she continues teaching individual piano students.

She currently serves 2 churches as organist as well as directing the choir at the Federated Church.
